It is TIME, to get right with GOD!

Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:       [Romans 5;1]

God has made "Making Peace with God" a simple and easy process.   He asks us to believe a few key foundational points and He askes us to give our life to Him.  That simple process, if we do it with a sincere heart, actually choosing to beleive what God asks us to believe, establishes peace between us and the creator of the universe.

God says we do things wrong, we are sinners.  We are.  God says that the wages or penality of our sins is death.  And it is.  God says that Jesus Christ, His son, was born of a virgin, a woman who has never been intimate with a man.  God askes us to choose to believe this.  God says that His son, Jesus Christ, He made to be Lord over all the universe.  God asks us to choose to believe this as well.   So to make our peace with God complete, we ask forgiveness for the wrongs (sins) we have done and we make a decision to believe on God's son, Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior.   Thats the complete process.  In doing this, with a sincere heart, God forgives us of all our sins.   This is often referred to as being "Born Again".  We start a new life, where our lives are transformed to a life of purity, righteousness, love, hope and faith.  A life with God.  A life following God's ways.   It is real and it is obtainable to any, yes any, regardless of who they are or their past, that will come to God with a sincere heart.

This is a major life changing event.  It is God's plan.   He loves us personally and individually.   We need His forgiveness.  It is God, not man, that has established this salvation process.  He has designed a whole new foundation for our life. This new foundation is solid, unshakable, and is the only foundation that promotes real life.   If we desire peace with God, it is our responsibility to make a choice to accept this new foundation. 

Jesus came that you and I may have real life and that life more abundantly.  Being born again into the kingdom of God, will be a parallel to the seasons of a normal life; being born, growing as a child, a teenager, and an adult.  Each of us start as a baby in Christ.   We sense God's love for us and initially may not know any more than this:  that we just gave our life to God.  That's okay, we are not babies forever.   As we abide in Christ, our lives will be transformed.   We will experience each phase of growth just as we do in the natural.     

The Bible confirms each of us are in need of salvation.   It reads.

"for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God" and "for the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord".

The Bible also reads,

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus Christ, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved”.

Ask yourself this: 

If my life ended this very second, do I know for sure,

beyond a shadow of a doubt, that I would go to Heaven?  

If we respond with anything other than something along the lines of "I know I have Jesus is in my heart"

then    “We need to get right with God!”   

If we are willing to confess with our mouths and believe in our hearts, then we are ready to pray and receive this gift of salvation.

(Pray out loud.)

Dear Lord Jesus, come into my heart and make Yourself real to me.   Forgive me of all my sin.   Wash me and cleanse me.  Set me free.  Thank You Jesus, for dying in my place.  I believe that You were born of a virgin and that you have risen from the dead and that through You, I have life.  Fill me with the Holy Spirit.  Teach me your ways and help me to walk after you all the days of my life.  I choose You as my personal Lord and Savior. 

 

Thank you for saving me, I’m now born again, I’m forgiven and I’m on my way to Heaven, because I have Jesus in my heart.
